Audi A6 2000 2.7T Mirror Control ****/Switch Replacement Problem
Hi guys,
I have an Audi A6 2000 2.7T that I had accidentally broke the mirror control **** or switch off. I got a replacement from the dealer (I know), and when connected, it only allows me to move the passenger side mirror down. No other functions work. I exchanged it, and the replacement has the same problem. The **** looks SLIGHTLY different, in the sense that the old one had 3 positions, and this one has a fourth that points in the opposite direction as the other three. Aside from that, it's all the same. Before I broke the ****, everything works, what could be wrong?

There are two choices, if you don't have seat memory it's 4B0959565A01C for 81.10, and with memory it's 4B1959565A01C for 67.39 and in stock for with memory. The other we can order and get Monday. Plus 5.50 priority mail usps shipping. What p/n were you sold and what is your VIN number, I can check what you have is correct or not.
If you were sold the correct part number it's possilble it's a defective switch, or misboxed.

Hello,
Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it!
They gave me "4B0959565 A 45 10" (4B0959565A01C on the box). I have "4B1959551 39 99" on the one that the **** broke off.
I was told that this is a newer version switch that is more resistant to snapping off and that it was compatible, now it seems like they gave me the wrong one. I have to go to the dealership tomorrow to get a key programmed, i'll see if they have it, as I need to return the one they sold me. If they don't, i'll see if I can get a full refund and order the correct one from you.
I believe I do have memory seats, I have the panel on the driver door with the three numbers that I can save seating positions.

Jeff,
They didn't offer me a refund but gave me the correct part number as you stated.
Do you have the bezel that fits around that switch, if so what is the part number and how much is it? Mine was damaged during removal so now the switch won't stay installed in the center panel, I can pick it right back up.

We do have the housing for that switch in stock. It's 4B0-959-557-B98 for 33.67, retail on it is 54.30, and we can mail that out for 5.50 usps priority mail if you'd like it. There is only one part number for this item on your car.
