I have a Audi A6 year 2000. I have a old cellphone type in the midle where you rest your arm. I am triying to locate the brain of the cellphone. I would just like to have in case of an emergency

PS: I have searched in trunk and under seat but no luck

 

In the same situation with a 98 A6. Hope this thread generates some ideas.

 

It is located in the left sided compartment in the trunk. If you remove the tool kit and the bracket it sits on, there is another flat metal panel behind it and the cell phone brain is mounted on the back side of this. I have a 2000 a6 and this is where mine was

 

Thank you I have found it, now I need to find out why it has no power. I will atach picture for other people to see
