Default Audi A6 2002 key programming

Good evening.

I have an Audi A6 2002 and recently one of my remote key's batteries died. I now have to change them and I saw tips how to reprogram, one key to ignition, one to door lock and buttons...(I know it detailed), BUT my car's door lock (only have one on driver door) was forced by a thief, I guess, in parking lot and it doesn't work anymore, the key doesn't go all the way in and it doesn't twist. Can I reprogram it if I use the trunk lock system? If not are there any other ways to reprogram it?

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Adrian.

as far as i know (at least on my a4) you don't need 2 keys-only one in the ignition.

turn it to the "on" position, but don't start the car.
hold the unlock button for a few seconds (5-10 ought to do the trick)
turn key back to "off" and press the unlock button

that should do the trick
