I have tried so many key programming instructions using two keys. And none of them has worked. I have a 1999 Audi A4 Quattro. If anybody know how to program the keys, can somebody give me the instructions. That will be really helpful. Thanks!

 

i believe vag-com can do it. go to ross-tech.com.

 

1) Take one key and put it in the ignition and turn the ignition ON. (The one you want to program)
2) Close and lock the driver's door with the second key (while the ignition remains on).
3) Take the first remote and press the "UNLOCK" button ONCE only - alarm will 'beep' but door will remain locked.
4) With the key, unlock and lock the door again.
5) Test the remote by pressing the "UNLOCK" button again - door should unlock.
6) Open the door and turn ignition off and back on again using the first key.

you might have a problem man with your car man, cuz i bought a new key on ebay and did the exact same things written here, it worked at that moment, i have a 98.5 1.8tqm... or 99 models might be different... keep on trying...

 

I just changed the battery on my remote and luckily found these instructions. They worked fine for my 99 1.8T.
