whenever I am driving at around 40mph or more and try to steer on the right the esp starts to flash on the board and the car stops acceleration. making a left turn does not cause the same symptom. and if i turn of the esp than it does not affect the right turn either. what can be the cause of this?

 

It looks like you need to get someone with VAG Com to run diagnostics on your ESP, sounds like it may be a bad harness in the ESP network. This system is very complex and probably why you're not getting many bites here. My guess is that some work was done on the car that damaged the ESP harness, switches or sensors somehow.
