I have an 02 Audi a6 4.2 with 122,000 miles on it. This week, when the transmission was shifting between 1st and 2nd gear, the transmission started slipping almost like the tires were spinning on ice then hitting dry pavement. I have had no issues prior to this. Seems worse as it warms up. All other gears seem to shift fine. I did check the tcm and it was completely dry along with all the connections. No sign of moisture. I do not have an Audi dealer close to me and most garages don't want to touch it.
