Audi A6 C6 RPM problem
Hello everybody, I have a strange problem with my A6 3.0TFSI (model year 2009). The RPM gauge shows higher RPM than the actual engine RPM. For example, when the gauge shows 3k RPM, the engine RPM is around 2.2k - checked with VCDS - Ross-Tech. With higher RPM the difference becomes bigger. Even on idle, there is around 150-200 RPM difference. Also, no errors or problems with sensors were detected. What can cause this problem, any ideas? Thanks in advance.

What issue could have the cluster? Can it be calibrated or something? And about the sensors - while I was driving the car a guy (from my local repair shop) with VAG-COM Diagnostic System was looking at the real-life information from the engine. How can be found a faulty sensor if it throws no error
