We've updated the results for the A6 to include owner experiences through June 30, 2011.
Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:
2008: 94, worse than average, very small sample size
2007: 76, about average
2006: 48, better than average
2005: 175, worse than average
2004: 80, about average
2003: 129, about average
2002: 147, worse than average
2001: 170, worse than average
2000: 164, worse than average
1999: 130, about average
Decent sample sizes for the 2001, 2002, 2005, and 2006, small and even very small sample sizes for the others. This could explain some inconsistencies. The 2006 result in particular appears off.
We'll have further updates in November and February. With more participants, we could provide more precise information and cover all model years.
