As I said, my headlights were level and properly aimed when I pulled the fuse.
We asked the garage to do this (followed this post for an A6), but they told us with frustration that there is NO FUSE #10 in our allroad.

DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW WHICH FUSE IS FOR THE DYNAMIC HEADLIGHT RANGE CONTROL IN A 2005 ALLROAD????

Sorry, but so frustrated! That beep is loud, and I've got a young kid.

Default Allroad head lights - dash warning light - aftermarket lights

I got the car with aftermarket (no motor) head lights.
Have the headlight warning light on.
No 'fuse 10'.

Has anyone found a solution to get rid of the warning light?

I tried 'softcoding' with vagcom to a car without adjustable headlights, but no luck.

Can the system be tricked (put some resistor into the wires, or similar)?

Unhappy 2003 Dynamic headlights

I have a 2003 Audi A6 - I bought used. about a month after owning - the warning light came on. It will not clear. I have gone to 2 different places and had it cleared by OBD II - no luck.

Is there a fix?

As I posted earlier, if your lights are properly adjusted, pull fuse #10. That should stop the motors from moving and eliminate the warning icon. It may not work on every vehicle, but it worked like a charm for me.

Just wanted to make my first post a semi-useful one. I just purchased an '04 Audi A6 Quattro, barely 62K miles on it. I put in Spyder aftermarket headlights and immediately got the Dynamic Headlight Range Control indicator warning. Popped open the driver's side fuse panel, pulled fuse #10 and all is well in the world. Took me a few minutes to read through this thread and barely two minutes to pop the panel and pull the fuse.
