Default Auxillary fan

How would I check if it works correctly? I just replaced it with a new one and want to see if everything works on it. Old one was seized up...or close to it, hence why I replaced it.

If you turn the ac on the fan should come on. If you have a vagcom you can also run an output test for the fans in the ac control module.

Yeah, I did that and it is still not coming on, I will hardwire to the fan, to see if it is the fan itself...if it isnt, could it be the Aux fan switch?

If memory serves me correct there is a fan control module that controls that fan. Sometimes when the fan gets bound up like that it takes out the fan control module. The module will be mounted low on the drivers side near the radiator. Just follow the wires from the fan and see if they go there.
If it doesnt have that module there will most certainly be a relay somewhere that controls the fan using a signal from the ac control head.
