Default Back Brakes - Piston/Caliper

I'm in the process of changing back brakes and rotors on my 02 A6 and I can not screw the piston back into the caliper. I have the tool and am screwing clockwise and it wont retract. I guess I've turned it 50 times or so and no change. Is there another trick I need to try? I actually have the hand tool with the multi fittings, but it seems to work better by using a needle nose pliers and pushing down and turning at the piston at the same time.

Any help would be appreciated. I am working on the driver's side with the parking brake linkage.

Thanks for the pm's. I figured it out. Seems as though backing it out a little further than pushing like hell and turning clockwise back in did the trick.
