More info is needed here. First what type of tire did you get? Second, on what part of the tire are you seeing wear? Inside edge or outside edge? Do the tires have a wavy (or feathering) effect on the treads? It could be camber, toe settings, worn bushings, or bent suspension pieces that did not become apparent until the wheel and tire change.

Got Cooper Tires Zeon 2XS 245/45/r17 The Wear is on the Outside of the Tires only in the Back the front ones are like new. The Dealer Says the rear Tie Rods are Bent they are going to Replace them, my question is this because of the springs, or was this natural wear after not quite 50,000 Miles? what can I do to Prevent this.

The outside tire wear is camber related. Yes the Tie rods can go bad after 50k. Also Remeber the car is at least 6 years old. Road conditions in your area may also play a role with tie rods wearing quickly. With all that being said I think they screwed up your alignment after you had the springs installed.I would guess that they didn't align your car properly the first time and may be telling you that you need these parts to correct your alignment. I really don't trust alot of dealers. They just may be tring to squeeze more money out of you here.

Get away from the dealer on issues like these. Go see the pro's who deal with nothing but tires and alignment and suspension all day long. I would have Les Schwab look at it. They have always done right by me.

The dealer didnt do the work the first time around, a performance place did. the dealer says they can't align the car untill the new rods are in, I dont know im just gonna have them do the work then get a camber kit and see how it works out.
