Default Blinker problems

First of all hello and thanks for looking.

I have a problem with my blinkers it seems and its kind of a wierd one. I searched the forums and cound't find anything like my problem. It started with the right blinker by blinking fast and all the blinker lights worked except the front right one. Then couple hours later the left one started doing the same thing and now both front blinkers dont work and blinks fast. I replaced the bulbs and that didn't work. I then replaced the emergency flasher relay thingy and that didn't work. I checked the fuses and they were all ok.

Now the thing is, when I turn my headlights on, the left one turns on super bright (both elements are turned on) and the right blinker turns on (one element). Unlocking and locking the doors all the blinker lights turn on except the front two. Doing the emergency lights all the normal blinker lights turn on except the front two.

Any thoughts to what could be wrong?

I think you will find it is the carrier for the indicator lamp that is the problem in both cases. It is a bayonet fitment with 2/3 contacts (Euro or US Spec), over time these become oxidised. If you remove the holder and clean up the contacts with 600 grade emery it should solve your problem I think.

Also make sure the part of the headlight that the socket goes into isnt melted. That can happen sometimes.
