Default Blinkers Went Out

My blinkers just stopped working. The fuselooks fine, and the lights are all working? Any thoughts?

it might be the fuse thats located inside the hazard switch.. get yourself a new hazard swtich and replace that.. you have to pull of the trim around the hazard button to gain access to it.. then pull the hazzard button out and unclip the plug, that whole piice is the relay for the directionals too... thats most likely whats wrong.. there about 30bucks

Yep, that should do it. The relay for the turn signals is built into the hazard switch. It's a common failure.

cool, thanks, i have the same problem. my flashers work but the signals have minds of there own, sometimes fine, sometimes a couple flashes then nothing, and sometimes nothing at all.

On my 01 A6 can't get the trim off to pull out the hazard switch....the bottom comes loose but the top stays put. the cup holder and other drawer stay put.
Am new to this and posted a note but did not hear from anyone.

I got mine out, you just have to pull like hell (carefully though) if that makes sence =)

i just did this today after work. I took out the radio first because I thought I had to, then started pulling the trim off. I broke 5 of the 6 clips on the trim because I was yanking it so hard. My buddy is bringing some double sided tape tomorrow to put in so it doesn't fall off or anything.

The turn signals work great though. It feels wierd using them after driving for like 3 months basically without them.
