sometimes when im driving my car it will start pulling hard then it just falls on its face with no power.. i have a 00 2.7t 6 spd with apr tuning. it doesnt do it all the time.. also one time i was in third and i punched it and the car started spuddering and the check engine light was flashing for a sec then just went away.i replaced the throttle body boot already.. so im thinking it might be the stock dvs are goin bad since the boost loss isnt all the time..anyone know for sure whats goin on here?

i had similar problems when i had my truck, i also had a great delay between hitting the gas and the thing actually moving, be sure to check ur spark plugs and the wires to them, also, you said its an '00? it might need a tune up also depending on the miles, ur supposed to do a tune around every 60k miles if u can

That sucks! Run the DV question in the search bar. I think I read of a way to check the DV's. Also, rule out boost loss through a vacuum test. Go to Autozone and have them pull the codes, if any. Hopefully, you have some luck when you pull the codes.
Good Luck!
