Default Bose Speaker System Installation in an Audi A6 4F - Need Help!!

Hi Gang

I have recently purchased a 2005 Audi A6 3.0 Quattro which I believe has the standard Audi Symphony Speaker system. I'm wondering whether any member has retrofitted the Bose system into their Audi A6 4F. If so, can you tell me whether its a direct plug and play setup or a totally new wiring harness needs to be installed?

Any input into this query would be awesome. Cheers

Save yourself a ton of frustration and forget BOSE. They are purposely designed to make adaptation virtually impossible. Get rid of the deck, buy some quality and do the conversion yourself. If you prefer to keep BOSE be prepared to splice and dice and make sure you get get every single one correct, there will be in excess of 35 if you do it correctly. And the chances of doing it correctly the first time are virtually NIL. I know, and I've been an electrician for 37 years.
