Default Brake fluid change

Is a brake fluid change as simple as opening all the bleeders on the wheels and watching the fluid go down but not let it run out before putting new fluid in it?
thanks Dwight

It is a lot easier if you have a pressure bleeder. Power Bleeder mad by Motive product is really good, but it is a little expansive. I have a good ol' Mityvac and works like a charm everytime. Do the Right rear first, left rear, right front, then left front. One at a time.

FYI, I never had success bleeding brake old school style on newer cars with ABS.
