Default D2 BRake Fluid change

I have a 2003 S8 with 79K miles. Service log mentions to change the brake fluid every 2 years. I saw a nice maintenance list on this site that you should do it every 100K. I have already had it done once at 50k while still under warranty. Is the every 2 years overkill, trying to sell more service?

My opinion very much overkill. Cars are much different nowadays. I'd change mine only every 100k anytime before that is completely unnecessary.

Agreed, every 100k should be plenty. I would still check it every oil change to make sure it doesn't develop any leaks or starts changing color or something.
