All of a sudden my both my ABS and brake lights came on in my 98 A6 while driving down the highway over the weekend and the brake light is flashing while in any gear other than park and is continuously lit while in park. My A6 didn't came with an owner's manual and I have yet to buy one, can anyone tell me what this means?

 

Yep, I actually had the same thing happen to me. Mine Beeped in those 3 god awful beeps. Most likely your ABS Moduel is broken. I went a few months before i changed it, but the brakes would lock up in the rain. I think that the fix was about $1000 or so.

 

dont be foolish and go to dealership for abs problems... go to www.bba-reman.com and have your abs module rebuilt for $200 plus shipping... thats it
