Default Brake Pads

I drive a '02 Avant Quattro and need a new set of pads all around. Can someone link me a some pads that they've had luck with? Getting so many different prices from mechanics around here. Not looking for top of the line or bottom of the barrel. Thanks So Much!!!!

It depends on what kinda pads you want. The stock organics offer the most grab on the brake rotor and ease of pedal feel than any other pad with the exception of high brake dust.
Ceramics (which i hate) were made to reduce brake dust which they do a great job of but at the cost of poor stopping distance, higher pedal effort, and **** poor heat dissapation which leads to warped rotors and cracking of the brake pads. [:'(]
Whatever you do i would either go with the stock pads, Hawk racing pads are ok, EBCpads are prettygood,NAPA pads are a good choice but cost just as much as the stockers, just don't buy cheap ones like Raybestos.

As previously stated the OEM pads are Textar or Pagid.

Judging by the composition color, brake dust and braking power they should be kind of metalics.

Never heard about organics as OEM on Audi.

Run ceramics on my other car ( Outback) with complete satisfaction.

ive had the best all around luck with NAPAs pads. They have cheap ones and then ones that are a little bit more, I always pay the extra $10. Not much brake dust at all and they dont squeak like some Advance semi metallics that are the same price.
