Brake pedal for a Bigfoot
Hi all: long-time reader, first-time poster. Just took ownership of a 2008 A6 4.2 about 2 weeks ago, and I love it. Love it, love it, love it. Will post pictures once the weather gets nice.
In any case, I've got monster-sized feet (size 15) and I feel like the brake pedal is just a little bit too close to the gas pedal for my comfort... if I wear a wider pair of shoes, I almost need to pry my foot out from where the accelerator is so that I can make it to the brake. Any suggestions on anything that I can do (that's not going to void my warranty)? Is it possible at all to move the brake pedal even just 1/2 inch to the left? Or will I just have to get used to this and wear narrow shoes?

I noticed the same thing when I got my 4.2. My "foot driving" style changed aftera couple of weeks of driving the car and I no longer notice the issue. I hope that you enjoy your 4.2 as much as I enjoy mine.
Just a quick follow-up. I haven't quite figured out the best way to make it work, but it's almost second nature now. Still would be interested if anyone knows of any mods, just curious. Thanks!
