Default Brakes, 2000 2.7T w/quattro

Ok, I really hate to ask a question like this... I'm really not completely useless.

I've got the manual from Bentley, and the diagram for the brakes on this car are nothing like the actual brakes on the car. The closest diagram is the one for the Allroad. Even still, I cannot get the calipers off. The guide bolts don't have the facets for a socket, and it's not one that I can use an Allen wrench on. Anyone have a similar problem? ANY advice at all would be very much appreciated!

Thanks!

I haven't played with the brakes on that car yet, purchased it 300 miles ago, but I would try a Torx bit if the allen won't do.
