Default Cam Adjuster Seal/Valve Cover Gasket fixed

Hello all,

Tomorrow I get the Cam adjuster seals and the valve cover gaskets replaced on my car.

While they are in there, is there anything else I should have them inspect and such for easier/cheaper replacement with them being so far into the engine?

Thanks!

PS. cars an 01 a6 2.7t with 125k

They're only gonna take the valve cover gaskets off, so they won't be able to look at much of the engine for wear. If you have that much mileage i would assume you already had the timing belt and water pump done.

Vacuum lines. If they haven't been replaced yet. Not hard to do them all.
I don't think it would save you money but while they are in there.

Knock out the camshaft oil seals and the metal/rubber plug and you should be leak free on the top end for years to come.

I guess this maybe too late, but it would be good to change out the cam plugs and the rear cam seals.
