Hey guys. I was driving my 06 3.2 Quattro today when the engine light came on. Went to the nearest Autozone to get the code read. I got P0346 (Camshaft Position Sensor) and P0087 (Fuel rail system pressure too low.) The car is idling normally and doesn't sound any different. Is this something as simple as that sensor or could the chain have skipped a tooth? Also, are these codes related? Thanks

 

On the older cars if the cps failed the car would run until shut down and then it would not start again until the cps was replaced.
