Default Camshaft position sensor

Hi.
I have an ATW 1.8 LT turbo with the service engine light ON. checked the codes and they told me the camshaft position sensor is the fault. The question is how to replace that sensor, is it as easy as removing the old and installing the new? I think this is the one that goes by the timing belt. is this correct?
any help is greatly appreciated
Thank you

just remove the engine cover, then serpentine belt cover. If memory serves me correct it will be on driver side front of the block, two bolts hold it in. Disconnect connector then install the new one. 15 minute job.

Hello
Thank you very much for writing.
Yes that is what I thought removing two screws moving old part out, new part in screw bolts back put cover back.
no secret/hidden tunning on this?

Nothing whatsoever - it's as straightforward as it appears to be. Swap the part, have the CEL turned off, and you're in business.
