Why would you want to have an Audi sound like a Mustang does trapped in the snow or sand? All of that power going to waste just making a loud noise, as it sinks deeper and deeper. Even on just a wet road a Mustang looses traction, since it is rear wheel drive with too much mass at the front end.
If you buy an exhaust system, you should get one which is dyno tuned for your car. You should also not get a system so loud that you attract unwanted attention.
Many of the after market exhaust systems may rust away within three to four years.

Cut off your mufflers, buy some magnaflows, it will sound good. No small block ford, but good.

 

What do you mean? He was given pretty much that answer... only better.

 

I saw a guy at a shop do a Chevy V8 hot rod. He just ran two somewhat straight pipes and linked them together mid frame with a small piece of 1 1/2" pipe I think. The link was for sound and it sounded nice. not like a mustang but it was nice. I think he had glass packs on the back.

How about supertrapps at least you can adjust them.

 

Supertraps pretty much suck.... had nothing but problems with them.

 

Oh well, Last time I heard supertrapps My idea of a loud exhaust was taking a 2" hole saw to my mufflers.

The crazy **** you do when your 17, Makes you wonder why our parents didn't just smack us in the head twice a day for good measure.
