Suddenly the warning buzzer associated with leaving the lights on when parking/leaving the car no longer works. It seems to be associated with when I slammed the bonnet after checking my oil level and all of the doors locked! This has meant I have left the lights on without knowing it and nearly had a flat battery twice! Any ideas?

Check the fuses and wiggle the relays.
