Default car wont start

first ill admit i let my car run out of gas so thats obviously dumb. It was warming up in my driveway and i came out and it ran out. I went and got gas for it but now the car will not start ive tried numerous times. ive checked the fuel pump fuse and its good. Anyone have any ideas what to do?

Perhaps your car is mad at you? Maybe your fuel filter is clogged from some debris that may have been lurking in your fuel tank. Or your fuel pump burned out due to not having anything to keep it cool. Or you didn't let the fuel filter fill up with fuel. If you turn the key to the on position does your fuel pump start to prime the system? Perhaps pull off the fuel line and see if you are getting fuel if you are not sure...if there is no go juice you can bet on dead pump or clogged filter.

i checked the pump today. I can hear it running fine so i dont think thats the problem. maybe your idea about the fuel filter is a possibility.

What's exactly happening when you turn the key to "start" position?
