i have an audi a6 2.7t 02 with 50k and recently the check enegine lights been coming on and off its winter where i live and ive noticed that it only comes on when the oil temp is low once it gets up close to the 250 range it shuts off any sugestions it come on and off its crazy

You need to get it scanned for the codes. Take it to Autozone and they will read them for free. Without the codes, it will be impossible to find what is wrong.

You will soon come to love and be one with the check engine light. When mine goes out, I am almost lost without her.

lol yeah the car drives fine u cant feel a thing when its on but yeah im go get it checked out thanks and are u sure its free at every dealer ??

No, not the stealership. They will charge you 100 bucks to check it out. Take it to an auto parts store and they will check it for free. Most of them anyway.
