I have got an 2001 Audi A6 2.7T Quattro. The check engine light is on for last 2 months and my mechanic is not able to fix it. The error code is showing P0441. Can you please tell me, what could be the possible reasons for this?

I can't find 30441 in any of my resources. Is the guy using a VAGCom or some generic code reader?

 

He may have said P0441 instead of 3. If that's so there is a problem with you EVAP canister.

 

Yes, the error code is P0441. My mechanic already changed the EVAP canister. But it didn't solve the problem. Can it be a computer problem? I mean, there is no error but the display is faulty?

 

Isn't that the code you get when the little plastic pipe on the top of the gas tank breaks? If so, there is a recall out on that part and the dealer should fix it for free.
