Default Check Engine Light

A few days after timing belt change, I'm getting the following CEL code:

P1519: Intake Camshaft Contr.,Bank1 Malfunction

My mechanic is replacing the sensor, but could it be related to the timing belt job? The light actually turned off after a few start/stop cycles, but then came on again after I reached freeway speeds.

Usually, but not always the code is related to a bad timing belt job. Since your mechanic will be replacing the sensor, it will tell soon enough.

Replacing the sensor didn't fix it. Turned out to be a pinched wire on the cam adjuster solenoid. Mechanic didn't charge for the sensor or the fix. Seems to be working fine now.

I have an '01 a6 4.2 and i'm getting p0340 p0300 p0305 p0308 and p0307 codes. someone suggested changing the cam adjustment solenoid. the timing belt was done and re-checked and said to be spot on. the cam sensors were replaced. any ideas? the car runs great, except idles slightly rough. coils? cam adjuster solenoid? crank sensor? cam tensioners? any thoughts are greatly appreciated. thanks. mike
