Yeah it was the coil pack on the 1st cylinder. I gotta a question tho. Where are the coil packs on a 2.7t. I have one of them and thank god it didn't break down since I got it. I was just wondering where they are and how to change the spark plugs. Can you do it yourself or u need a mechanic?

 

Coil pack is on top/front of the engine. once you remove the plastic cover, you'll see it right away.

I replace the original spark plugs with E3 plugs & it give more power during acceleration.

E3.64 plugs for Audi with 2.8 engine. $5.99 each.

u take the wires off the coilpack n then slide the coilpack out and then there is the sprk plugs ... there is a diy on audidiy.com

 

Dont know what that other audi dealer is doing but flashing CEL is misfire not emissions... My A4 had same thing bad coil pack and ya 40 bucks.. super easy to fix... just have dealer clear codes and did it for free... not 49.00 like they were supposed to charge for diagnostic..
