so my car was leaking coolant and needed a new water pump. I went ahead and changed the water pump and timing belt and now the car wont start properly and the check engine light is blinking. it doesnt accelerate and the engine is shaking. Is my car done for ?? extremely nervous and not sure what the problem is . SOMEONE HELP PLEASE !

 

The timing isn't correct, causing misfires which manifest as shaking and the blinking CEL. Do a code scan and post your codes up. My bet is you're off about two teeth - one tooth off and the car will drive a little odd. Three or four teeth off and you'll start having contact between engine internals. Two teeth off and it usually just runs like dogshit.
