a little while after i got my car it started making a kind of clunking noise when i first accelerate.
I just assumed it to be something in the suspension but it only does it right after i start driving. before i even reach 5 mph the car will clunk and then i can drive for hours with nothing.
I need to put it on a jack one of these days but if anybody has any ideas of stuff i should be looking for all help is appreciated. Thanks ahead of time

one of those symptomes sounds kinda like whats going on but it only does it once when i first begin to accelerate after i turn the car on. and has never done it while decelerating

 

control arms. Various speeds and velocities put different tensions on the arms, probably just one is problematic, the rest are soon to go.

 

something like the control arms or another suspension piece was my first suspect but the thing that puzzles me is why doesn't it do it every time i reach or decelerate to that speed. the only time it will happen isright after i start driving when i first begin to accelerate
