Comfort control module corrosion
About 3 months ago I had major water damage from my battery tray drain getting clogged up.
I pulled the comfort control module and it was corroded really bad, so I soaked it in rubbing alcohol and it looks a lot better.
However, the wire harness clips that connect to it are slightly corroded, the main (larger) 12 pin connector is corroded beyond fixing. I have been looking everywhere for this connector. The only option I can think of is just buying a used Comfort Control module that comes with the wiring harness and just use the clip. OR purchase vagcom and just use the (used but working) comfort control module.
Looking for any input from someone that has had this issue, Thank you!
btw, its the 2002 Audi a6 4.2 (but was manufactured in November of 2002 so most of the parts are 2003)
