Default comfort control module

the passenger foot well on my audi a4 2007 cabriolet was wet and started having trouble with the central locking, windows and interior lights. I removed the passenger seat pulled the carpet and found a lot of water under the carpet and the comfort control module was sitting in water!

im in the process of drying the car out but think I need a new ccm. the part number is 8h0 959 422 M. I cant find 1 anywhere? can anybody point me in the right direction as to where I can get 1 from??

If your not finding one on Ebay etc other options available are contacting breakers of the same car to try and find the same part, this will be the cheaper option. other than that it's a case of going direct to Audi for the part. Electronic bits are tough to get hold of as they are specific to every vehicle, and even different A4's will have different settings enables on their CCMs depending on if they have the interior light pack etc, so if you go down the breakers route you may still need Vag-Com to recode that module.

Question

to whomever writes about the location of a part that is hidden........PLEASE state whetyher you have a right or left hand drive car....I am sure that some parts may follow driver vs passenger and some stay on the same side regardless....what a screw up if you tear up the carpet and panels on the wrong side....simple: just say rhd or lhd.....thank you
