Default Coolant leak.

I recently bought an 01 A6 2.7t and it has a leak. Just replaced the timing belt, water pump, t-stat, and all the r-hoses. Paid $1500 now a hose broke from the pressure. It leads in the engin block and is near the reservoir tank. Can some help me let me know it is and what I should expect to pay.

suppose it all depends on what exactly is broke

try taking it back to the place that you paid to do the timing belt service and tell them the line that busted, went because they didn't properly bleed the system when they refilled the coolant. You took it to a reputable shop that specializes in euro cars, specifically in Audis so they should stand behind their work. You did take it to a specialist, right?

oh, and Willkommen to the forums

good luck

have fun

on our 2.7T there is a bleeder screw on the top of the engine. it is in the front sort of under the driver's side diverter valve. Sort of a fat, flat hex bolt. Takes a 5mm IIRC. I use and extension with a wobble to get on it nice and solid. Its pretty obvious when you see it.
