I have a 01 a6 2.7t and i found out my coolant was leaking...Its is leaking down the driver side of my car about where my exhaust comes down from the engine..its dripping off of the heat shield where my cats r. The other day i found it smoking out of the passenger side of my car from the leak....i just need some help locating the leak!

 

maybe the coolant tank? looks for any pink crusty around the tank and hoses

 

my tank does have a crack that does leak but it leaks so slow that u cant see it actually leaking...wherever the leak is it leaks quite a bit and I cant see where its leaking from with the naked eye either from the top of the car or anywhere from the bottom.

 

so i found the leak...its a heater hose...but now my problem is i cant tell where its going? any ideas?
