Delayed throttle - 09 A6

I just picked up an 09 A6 and don't like the delay between giving it gas and the engine responding. Is this normal or do I need to take the car in to be checked out?

It's normal. Usually this happens when the maf gets hot. Is the throttle response good when the engine is cold?

Also try resetting the ecu and do a throttle body adaptation. That might help a tad

Unfortunately it's slow all the time. The car is under warranty and I plan on taking it in but I don't want them to tell me that's normal just because the car isn't throwing any codes.

Not sure if you car has it but the CVT transmissions have that feel to them. It is like a delayed engagement.
