Exclamation Differences between 98' and 99' a6's brake systems HELP!!!

Today I finally decided to search for rotors for my car(that i have needed for a couple of weeks) and found out that there are three or four different sizes that it could be depending in the original size of the wheel, the time of year the car was built and a few other things.

Well, since my car had aftermarket wheels on it when I bought it, i dont know what size were original, and dont know how to find out.

So my question is, how do I find out what the correct size of rotor to purchase for my car is?

Thanks, Dan

Call the dealer or http://www.blauparts.com/

both places have been helpful to me when I am trying to determine what ??? I need, especially when things changed mid year.

Dan,
I would think VagCat is your friend on this one.

Front:
288x25 mm ......... or ....... 312X25 mm
4A0615301C ................... 8D0615301J
If you have the floating type caliper (with 4 pads), then you need the 321x30mm rotors - 8D0615301M.
At least that's how I interpret the information.

Rear:
4A0615601A
245X10 mm

Here is what I found at blauparts.com, http://www.blauparts.com/audi/audi_b...isc_size.shtml
its a great description on how to measure and find out what size rotors your car has
