Does rollover valve recall campaign repair = P0441
Hello all -
I'm bringing up this question again from another thread in another forum that seems to just read stuff and does not have anyone that has insight to any issues regarding this vehicle. Maybe there is someone here that can provide some info.
I have a 2003 A6 quattro 4.2l that had a CEL when purchased. There is a recall campaign on this vehicle for the rollover valve due to stress and cracking of the fuel filler port assembly. I had the repair completed at the local audi dealer. My original CEL was retarded timing on bank "X". I fixed that. Then, next CEL was secondary air. I fixed that. I now continue to get a CEL for P0441 (EVAP incorrect purge flow) and NOW P0456 (EVAP leak detected (very small leak)). I have replace the gasket on the filler cap (did the suck and blow test on the encased valve), replaced a faulty N80 solenoid, checked the weight of the evap canister (it's 5 lbs.), did my best to check the vacuum pump in the rear fender well (any input on how to do a proper test on this device is appreciated) and checked vacuum lines.
Has anyone had this campaign done and did you suffer any codes popping up? And/or, has anyone had these codes and resolved the issues and how did you do it (aside from taking it to the shop)?
All feedback is appreciated
Regards.
