Default Does Vag Com reset window regulator switches

2006 A6 Avant. Front passenger window. I can lower the window from the driver's door switch. That switch will not raise the window. It works fine up and down from the front passenger door window switch.
Can Vag Com "reset" the window switch operation for the driver's door? Vag Com is like voodoo to me. I hate to pay to replace that switch if not necessary. Thanks.

Sounds like a switch issue. You can pop out the switch panel and check the connectors.

Take a look at this TSB issued by Audi.

Thanks for the reply ryuuoh and Kevin. In the TSB, is the "door trim" the same as the entire door panel, or can this driver's door 4 switch panel be popped up and out by itself as suggested by ryuuoh? I'm not sure how to remove the entire driver's door panel without breaking some of the clips & other plastic parts?? Does anyone know of a DIY or link for door panel removal? Thanks, PeteM

Removing the door panel involves removing a small phillips trim screw at the top front and rear of the upper trim and lifting the panel up and out. Then disconnect the door handle cable and electrical connectors. The panel is held on by L-shaped plastic brackets on the trim panel that self-tighten as the panel brackets move down into their little slots.
This panel is the easiest I ever removed.
