Hello,

I have an A6 Avant...the drivers side window needs to be realigned in its track...the motor is strong, but the glass shifts causing it to bind up.

does anyone have a step-by-step for this process? I can't even seem to locate the screws to remove the door panel!

Any help is appreciated.

This is well known issue with Audi windows. The window guides get worn out and the window binds on the way up, I don't think Audi sells the quides separately, only the whole regulator.

I had to get my windowtrack modified and lubed by the dealer. They said my tint was a little to thick for the window track so he had to widen it a little. But it cost me $198 to fix.
