dying at idle
my 95 a6 quattro 2.8L V6 is occasionally dying at idle. i have checked and changed all vaccum lines, changed spark plugs, and looked for anything out of the ordinary. i have been told it could be the idle air control valve but i dont want to replace it until im sure it's not something easy to fix. when i come to a stop, downshifting and braking, the rpms drop quickly and the engine doesn't catch itself at 900 rpms like normal, instead it will drop to way below that, stutter and then die. having power steering can be hazardous when the car dies and you are still moving. anyone else have this issue, or know where i can find an iac valve? thanks d-
ps- check the pictures, it sucks being the only non-turbo in the household,rx-7 turbo II, 240sx turbo, one other car not pictured is the honda crx turbo
