I have a 2002 audi a6 2.7 6 speed. We just did a front and rear brake job and changed both outer tie rods, now after 5 minutes of driving my esp light comes on. When i turn the car off it comes off, and then after another 5 minutes of driving it comes on and I can not turn it on or off, it stays on. Before it comes on I have the option to turn it on or off, what could this be>?

 

check abs sensor for damage. have u changed tires too? if not the right size that could trigger it too.

 

tires are 17s, purchased from Audi. I will look into the abs sensor though, any other suggestions? I have a vag com however it will not pick up a fault code.

 

what about 18s? is there a vag com setting?

 

I would retrace the things I did related to the brake sensor wiring during the brake job, you may have damaged something.

 

Its weird, all of a sudden it came off. Lucky me
