I'm hoping to get a new exhaust put on my A6 within a month or so, but I'm not sure where to start. I'm looking for something that will give it a similar growl to the RS6. Any help or info would be appreciated.

 

Milltek sounds real nice and smooth, but it won't sound like the RS6 since you have the 2.7T
BTW how much you looking to spend? Because most exhaust systems for Audis aren't cheap.

 

I was looking into the APR Cat-back exhaust (http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/a...aust_a627.html). From what I hear it's high quality with a very deep growl. I figure no matter what it's going to cost a pretty penny, but that's how it goes.

 

Yeah APR is a quality system as well. Post some pics if you get it

 

I'll probably do it within the next month or so, but I'll post some pictures soon because I'm getting my tint done this week and putting on my hella tail-lights... I'm stoked.

 

I put a Miltek on my 2.7T. I love it. It doesn't growl but it has a smooth purr which is what I prefer. Plus, get into the gas and it comes to life man! You are not going to get the RS6 sound though....you do not have the displacement under the hood!

Beware of other exhaust...you don't want to sound like a f--kin Honda going down the street
