Default Experience with Redline....

I recently serviced the tranny and diff on my 02 2.7T 6SP with Redline 75W-90 gear oil. When cold, shifting gears doesn't feel so good, very notchy. Once warmed up, it feels great, better than before the change. Anybody else have a similar experience?

It's a little to heavy. If you change it again, mix in about 1/2qt of Redline MTL.

The obvious question is, should I worry?

And would mixing be considered the rule thumb when it come to Redline and the 6SP, use another synthetic gear oil or just stick with the VW stuff?

I contacted redline about being knotchy when cold on my EVO 8, and that's what they told me to do. So far it works perfectly.
