Default Fan Control Module problem

Ok I have a bit of an issue with my 2003 A6 2.7T. I had my cooler lines bust and during that time (i think during that time) the fan control module flat out melted. It actually looks like it might have caught fire. Anyway I have ordered a new module and all of the cables/harnesses are ok except for one which has completly melted off and I have bare wire hanging.
the only wire I need to hook up is the big middle one that is labeled 30/31 and has two prongs inside.
Here is the question. I cannot seem to locate a new harness to splice the cables and attach a new one. Can anyone point me in the right direction? If not what are my options as far as some kind of a jerry rig to get this working?
Any help is very much appreciated.
Thanks.

Jerry rig = cut both sides and splice in wire. But, then again, if you have to ask ...

My plan is to splice the wires but I'm not sure which wire goes to which prong inside the module. I don't want to short the module out and I was wondering if anyone knew which colored wires goes to which prong 30/31 on the module. (basically I need a wiring diagram for that module)
