I recently purchased an 03 Audi A6 with the 3.0 i received one key with the remote from the place I bought it at. Obviously love the car, the AWD and all the goodies. I am just curious about purchasing another key. I see all of the uncut keys on ebay and i have no issue buying stuff from ebay (always have always will). I just want to make sure i get an FCC ID that will work with my car. I have seen some where the id is apparently good until 03, then 2 items later the same id is only valid till 02. is there anywhere that people have been able to find a list of codes and what years the corelate too. I dont know if others have had the same problem, i just dont wanna be stuck with a useless key.

This is one place i would recommend getting a key from a dealer. The key comes already cut for the vehicle and only needs to be proggramed. You have no idea how many times ive had to tell a customer theyre key cant be programmed. Didnt ask where they got the key but i ahve a pretty good idea.
