I have a 2000 a6 2.7tt auto trans.. .the other day my car stopped starting.. I got underneath it and found out that the flywheel is just lose in the bellhouse casing... My questions are how does the flywheel just comes lose and fall off.. how much work is it to get to the flywheel?? I need to fix this beciase it is my only means of transportarion to work.. anyone ever heard of this before???

 

How were you able to see the flexplate from underneath without removing the transmission???
